So, lets start discussing again!
What is your opinion about teaching your own partners or relatives???
I'm somehow split because I do not really have an oppinion yet. One thing I know is that I judge the diving qualities of my mum different than those of an guest or "normal" student. I want her to be better than the standards...
This is bad and should not be... I admit!
So next weekend I'm going to teach my girlfriend, two of my best friends, my mothers boyfriend and two best friend of my girlfriend. This is going to be the very first time for me. I do worry a little bit and will hold myself back an try to handle everything as normal. I hope this will work.
Do you have any experience????

I once tried to teach my Ex-Wife to dive............Unfortunately....... Not a good idea from my standpoint! Guess it depends on you and how much you can differentiate your feelings as a teacher and also a relative or lover of the student !! Can only say Good luck M8 !!

Got the pool session behind me this weekend.
Was ok. Somehow it is very nice to take advantage of the status of them being your friends. I had a fun time being not nice to them or say direct in their faces what they should do without any politness.
Since my pool time was very limited a close friend came to help out. This turned out to be helpful because at one time my girlfriend had some problems and whatever I did or say didn't helped at all. So my friend took over and I don't know why but she got more relaxed.
So in two weeks lake session is on the schedule. Will write more about this!
