I just moved over from the old board. I didn't introduce myself on the old board, so it's time.
I've been diving since 1979 and quickly progressed to AI in 1981. I reached burnout as a dive slave in 1982 and pretty much gave up as a pro. I dove as a recreational diver until my 10 yr old daughter got certified. That's when I decided I needed to be as sharp as possible, so I had my DM reinstated and started dive slaving again in 2002. In 2003, my dive fanatic daughter convinced me I should finish my dream of becoming an instructor, and I attended IDC in January 2004.
I'm now a PADI MSDT, an SSI DCSI, a DAN instructor, and an EFR Instructor Trainer.
I'm hoping to see this board mature to the point where we can discuss topics professionally and leaving the agency attitudes in the dive shop. |
