Lost Treasures of the Seven Seas is a French site dedicated to treasure hunters of all ages. Serving as a portal for all things wreck-related, Lost Treasures is something of an underwater archaeology clearinghouse. From generalist information concerning wreck-laden sites (think: Lake Issyk-Kul); to overviews of contemporary political issues swirling around wreck sites; to resources for legislation-hunters (what, exactly, is the deal with Greek artifacts?); Lost Treasures is building its database to become a shipwreck-news warehouse.
If research isn't exactly what you're after, there's also a good and growing News section -- featuring an interesting story about Indonesia's government and its plans to auction thousands of ceramics, coins, and glassware recovered from a shipwreck off the West Java coast -- and some interesting images in the Photo Albums. Got a minute? Check it out. You're certain to uncover something you like.
