Ok, where do we start?
Basically some of you know the old DivePro - Info message board. It was around for about 1.5 years and got much more attention in this short period of time than we ever imagined in october 2004. Lets take that as a short excuse for the following.
When DivePro - Info started it was a small project out of frustration about the status quo in the scuba industry. nobody expected the fast growing interest in it and none of the founders had really any money to spare. So we went for the cheapest solution at the time - a free platform with decent customization options.
Well, now (not even 2yrs later) it kind of bites us in the behind! Since some time now we thought about expanding the existing boards to a "fully blown" website. What we actually just did at the time you read this  .
Unfortunately our old system is not compatible and convertible to anything - I guess you get what you pay for  !
So for now we placed "hot links" to all the corresponding areas on the old board on the top of each forum as stickies. Over the next weeks we will attempt to move all the relevant topics over by hand, so we dont loose it all at one point. Far from the best solution, but - after talking to many coding wizzards - in our case the only one.
We hope you can live with that and will be even more active to make the new DivePro - Info home as useful and successful as the old one!!!
