the simplest way to put this i brrr-ello ALL!
first you probably want to know " brrr-ello " is how we great each other after every dive here in the cold ass Canadian Rockies after ice-diving. Now, I know this isn't for the faint at heart which is why I have only gone under twice. Once because I wanted to log an Altitude Dive. And Once just because I really wanted to witness the 1912 Dam below the 2007 Dam we were standing on.
I've dove in Australia, Costa Rica, 'Canada' & Thailand.
from the list, I'd say I was a " tropical diver " and therefore would like to designate myself as such...
I joined the Original dive-pro info forum back in Thailand in 2006 when I was training to obtain my PADI Dive Master rating. Since then, I have concluded the reading for an SSI Cross-over course into the Dive Control Specialist Group. However the dive shop I was working for went belly up, before the cross-over was completed.
As for today, I am sitting in my nice warm apartment... assorting out how my fiancee pulled this "tropical diver" into the frosty wind chilled air of Calgary.
Therefore, my contribution to Dive-Pro Info is more towards the 'info' portion of the Dive-Pro forum. I am on this site probably twice a month to just check in around the globe of diving. Read a few articles. And bugger off until I get another whim to search for another job.
Hope All Is Well, diving where ever you are...
Cheers
