Golden Eye becomes the 5th dive vessel operated by Plaza Resort Bonaire and Toucan Diving



Toucan Diving, located at the Plaza Resort Bonaire and the islands #1 rated, PADI 5 star Golden Palm IDC center proudly announces the arrival of its 5th dive boat GOLDEN EYE.


GOLDEN EYE has 2 x 375 HP John Deere engines equipped boat of 41 feet was custom built by Michael Fitz in Naples (FL) and received the Bonaire registration NB1 007!


“GOLDEN EYE is now added to a fleet that already consists of 3 Island Hoppers, GREEN FLASH, PURPLE RAIN and BLUE MOON as well as the colorful SeARUBA” - says Simone Wackenhut, manager of Toucan Diving.


GOLDEN EYE has a maximum capacity of 24 divers. Simone also added, “We have noticed that dive groups become larger and larger and with GOLDEN EYE we can accommodate those larger groups easily on one boat. 2 times 375 horsepower engines guaranty a swift transfer from the shore to one of the many dive sites that Bonaire and Klein Bonaire has to offer”.


Plaza Resort Bonaire and Toucan Diving are very proud to have this brand new dive boat. Her first arrival at the Plaza Marina was accompanied by the soundtrack of the famous James Bond movie - Golden Eye and the popular crew of Toucan Diving boarded the vessel for a well deserved photo op.
