While I am not the big tekkie (beside my devilish Nitrox certification) I never heard of them and I am still alive. One imagine, I dove mixed gas (hey it sounds insane from my mouth but technically thats what even Nitrox is) not supplied by Praxair. Anyway, it might be a great company and all. I am just in a sarcastic mood today. Here is the story.
Praxair’s Technical Diving Gases: New Depths of Reliability
Dive shop owners, dive training centers and charter boat operators are turning to Praxair for their technical diving gases.
While this is Praxair’s first time at the DEMA show, it is not our first experience with the diving industry. Since the 1920s, when Praxair developed helium breathing mixture tables for deep sea diving, to the early development of helium/oxygen breathing mixtures for offshore oilfield diving more than 30 years ago, our experience has established Praxair as a leading worldwide manufacturer of oxygen, helium, argon and other gases.
