| Olympus recently announced its new E-400, a 10 megapixel digital camera, slated to be the smallest, lightest dSLR on the market. The new camera features dual memory card slots, four thirds compatibility, supersonic Wave Filter -- ensuring dust-free photography -- 31 scene modes (including underwater), a 2.5'' LCD screen, and more. A complete "E-400 package" will include the E-400 body, a 14-42mm lens, and a new compact 40-150mm lens. Available in the UK in November, expect the E-400 to run approximately £850 ($1600). Olympus has already announced the polycarbonate PT-E03 underwater housing, depth-rated to 120 feet. To see what the E-400 looks like, check out DPNow ( http://dpnow.com/3006.html ), which has 33 excellent images of the whiz-bang little camera. |

its available for 335 here

best off wiating for the e410 with live view mode, youll be able to compose the images on the rear screen as opposed to the tiny viewfinder. Also the e510 will incorporate image stabalization which would undoubtly be brilliant when working in rough conditions. |

Thank you. It was a older post with date problems due to the moving of the forums I think. 335 quid or dollar is still a excellent price I think.
Good to know! |
